New Years Day Result For Paul

Paul Hammond got out on the first day of 2012 to try and get amongst the fish. Paul explained 'Quiet was the word of the day...I didn't see a fish all day! One rod was fished over a bit of bait whilst the other was chucked about the swim. As darkness arrived I noticed a slight disturbance in the water's surface about 65yrds away... and as it was about the most exciting thing that had happened all day I decided to launch a Scud at the ripple (if you'll excuse the pun!). Five minutes later and I had a fish wallowing in the bottom of my net and I was a happy chappy! Off the mark for 2012 on new years day!
